What To Expect In A Consultation Session?

The Tellington Method is a wonderful way of deepening your understanding and relationship with your animal. Most owners learn a few of the touches and exercises after a series of sessions and continue using them, mainly because it feels so good for both human and animal. You will see the gratitude and relief from your animal friend and have a sense of satisfaction that you can positively participate in their well being.

To Set up a Session:

  1. Call or email me with your concerns/issues regarding your animal friend and we can set up a time for a house call. Consultations are by appointment only.
  2. Our first session will be an interview with both you and your animal. We will discuss the situation and I'll have an opportunity to observe how your animal is feeling, how they react in the household with other family members (if possible) and how they move/body posture. Normally the first session including the interview lasts between 30 min and 1-1/2 hours depending on the situation. The follow up sessions will normally last about an hour.
  3. I require a minimum of 3 sessions to completely cover our TTouch work. This enables the animal to experience the whole combination of the bodywork and groundwork, integrate the process and also gives the owner a chance to learn for themselves the touches and groundwork they want to continue. There is a minimal amount of equipment we use for groundwork, body wraps and other tools of the trade. I will provide everything initially and then you can determine if you want to invest in anything for future use. Each session normally includes a combination of bodywork and groundwork exercises.

During a session your animal friend should not be eating and if there are other animals in the household they should be resting comfortably in another area of the house so as not to distract us in our session. Both you and your animal should be rested and ready to focus on our work.

I am currently certified as a TTouch Practitioner for Companion Animals, which includes all species of animals we think of as household pets. For more information about the Tellington TTouch Method for Companion Animals, Horses(TTeam) and Humans you can visit www.TTeam-TTouch.com
